Las mujeres con endometriosis es uno de los colectivos de enfermos más desprotegidos que hay en la actualidad. Pese a que esta enfermedad suele producir dolores incapacitantes nunca se concede una baja por este motivo. Los sucesivos gobiernos de España contemporizan mientras más de un millón de mujeres sufre con cada menstruación dolor pélvico, calambres abdominales y otras complicaciones como la destrucción de algunos de sus órganos y en muchas ocasiones la infertilidad.
Ya han pasado más de 10 años desde la primera PNL que se presentó en el Congreso de los Diputados pero apenas han habido avances para las pacientes. El tiempo medio de diagnóstico es de más de 5 años, no se han abierto unidades de referencia y todo sigue igual.
Por ello este colectivo de mujeres enfermas se han organizado en Internet y la prueba de ello es su gran actividad en redes, foros y asociaciones de pacientes.
